Boats
Roll On/ Roll Off is service is the most common and the most recommended way to transport your boat. Boats are loaded by professional staff, using special equipment to tow your boat on a trailer or cradle into the ship. The boat is parked on one of the lower decks, tight down and secured using specially designed lashing. This is safe, secure and eliminates any potential damage while the ship is at sea. When the ship arrives at the port of destination it is unloaded the same way. In general, the Ro/Ro mode is the safest and cheapest way to handle oversize boats. We recommend shrink-wrapping your boat. Shrink wrap not only keeps your boat clean, it is also a great theft deterrent. The cost is minimal compared to the benefits.
